TRAGER(R) Professional Training Classes, Berkeley, California
The Trager International professional training course leads to certification as a Trager Practitioner. Its five pre-certification classes can be taken at one's own pace, here in the Bay Area as well as in different locations in the U.S. and around the world. The course includes three levels of core classes, taken in sequence, interspersed with field work and two additional classes which may be taken at any point prior to certification: a 3-day Mentastics (R) class covering the practice and teaching of Trager movement and a 6- day class of Anatomy and Physiology of the Trager Approach, "How Trager Works ".
In Northern California, Level 1 Trainings of 48 hours are scheduled once or twice each year. The format may include 6 days of class with a one-day break between the 4th and 6th days or a schedule of two three-day weekends. A period of supervised and unsupervised fieldwork follows the levels 1, 2 and 3.
Level 2 trainings (6 days) are scheduled according to the pace of the student cohort.
Level 3 trainings (5 days),
A Mentastics(r) movement class (3 days), and an
Anatomy and Physiology of Trager class (6 days)
are each scheduled based on a number of students ready and requesting the class.
All modules required for certification are offered here in the San Francisco bay area, as well as throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, the Middle East, Australia and Japan.
